Is Obama still a strong advocate of education for Kindergartners?

I have not heard that and I am not sure how I feel about that.. I do think that's kind of young. However, you would be amazed at how much kids that young know. I have been working at schools since 1989 and when I started it was a rare thing to see 18 year olds pregnant.. last year, it was a rare thing to NOT see 12 year olds pregnant.. SERIOUSLY.. The school I worked at offered parenting cles but they can't legally offer "prevention" cles.. It's pathetic.. Kids see a lot on TV today and they do know more than we think. Most parents would p out if they heard the things I hear in school. It's very common for me to hear things like "he's the only boy in 5th grade I haven't slept with", etc.. I am very serious. IT's everywhere. Though I still think K is too young.
