What happen to Takuya Ouga in Hell Girl ep 7 (Bonding) Season2?

The crash was just an accident. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose. It looks like Emi is delusional and her father was just looking for the mom and still lives with Emi. From what i've seen of hell girl its seems like the rest of that stuff is purposely ambiguous.
