My friend no longer has health insurance and only has 2 weeks worth of medication left?

Well you should call up all the hospitals in the state and see which ones take patients that don't have health insurance. There is at least one if every state and they cannot refuse him no matter what. I'd also write a letter to the Governor personally or call him and tell him the situation and tell him that your friend needs these medications to survive and you need his help. This is rough because if Obama's health care plan is ped your friend, because of his condition, will be bumped down the list which will make it harder and longer to get his medicine and to see a doctor. If I were you I'd raise hell in those departments and demand help for him. You might be able to get the medicine from free clinics but that won't last forever with the way things are going now.
