Whats the best way to clear cloudy aquarium water?

I recently bought a 75 gallon tank and stand i have two of the whisper 30-60 filters and two power heads tank has been setup with water and fish for a little over a week but the water is still cloudy ive tried acurel-f and aquarium salt. The tank is a fresh water setup with african cichlids and peas one columbian shark and two pictus catfish.
